Youngstown State University will sponsor a STEM College Showcase on April 22, 2012 from 2-5 PM at Moser Hall on the YSU Campus.
Students from the STEM College will be displaying many of the projects on which they have been working during the past semester. We will feature several YSU student projects from regional and national science, engineering, and mathematics competitions, including a Concrete Canoe, Steel Bridge, Moon Rover, and Mini-Baja Car.
Also, STEM College faculty will be on hand to provide laboratory tours and answer any questions about STEM education and careers. In the past few years, this event has become very popular, particularly amongst high school students and their parents who want to learn more about YSU and STEM College education and careers. The event is free and reservations are preferred. Contact Dr. Daniel Suchora (dhsuchora@ysu.edu) for more information.
