WSU is home to the Center for Nanoscale Multifunctional Materials which specializes in research on nanomaterials used in energy production and in environmental remediation. Along with the University of Dayton and the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright State University offers the only masters program in the state on clean and renewable energy.
